The Kaen’ is a type of traditional Flute used in Isan Folk music (North-East Thailand). This month we expect some extremely Sacred and High class Buddhist amulets about to be released, which will be added as soon as these editions leave the temple. Amongst the various ranges of amulets expected are a range of two different editions of extremely fine Buddhist Miniature art in the form of Monk Coins in the image of Luang Phu Kambu, two different editions called ‘Jaroen Baramee 89’ and ‘Jaroen Porn Sadung Glab’. The craftsmanship of these coins is incredibly detailed and finely honed works of fine art. Available in various sacred metals, with the top of the range being in solid gold, pink italian gold, and a three piece coin made from solid silver with a separate solid gold image of Luang Phu Kambu inserted – also included will be some high end versions covered in ‘Ya Rachawadee’ sacred enamels and lacquers, which are extremely attractive. a Gammagarn special limited edition of these coins are also made with the colors of each birthday, for those who seek amulets designed for persons born on that day. These amulets are already receiving much interest and acclaim in Thailand and look like a very promising prospect for becoming a future classic essential rarity.

The same Jumbo and regular size will be available with 2 or 5 gold takrut and a silver Luang Por paetch Buddha statuette inserted into the rear face.

All of these additions are High end amulets which will be in our higher price range, for the serious collector. After these editions arrive we shall concentrate on improving and expanding both the economy range of amulets for those with small budgets, as well as beginning to increase the amount of ancient amulets

Putta Pisek Empowerment

The empowerment of these rare Healer Ruesi amulets was a small but very genuinely made empowerment with all masters involved putting their whole heart into the creation and empowerment of this image of the Buddha’s Physician, Ruesi Hmor Chiwok Gomarapat.

Apart from its Miraculous ability to sometimes heal terminal illnesses, the amulet is also pure Buddhanussati (emembrance of Lord Buddha and the Dhamma and Sangha) and an object of inspiration and Faith for Buddhists to wear and keep Auspicious practice in Mind, and to avoid harmful Thoughts.

It is a reminder to practice Compassion to relieve others of Suffering. Ruesi Chiwok was the Personal Physician of the Lord Buddha Himself, and is thus the Guru of all Thai Buddhists who work in the Medical or Healing Professions.

Somdej Chana Marn Bandan Sap, Pim Po Gao Bai (nine leafed Bodhi tree), Hlang Pra Mae Posop (Goddess of Fertility on the rear face. ‘Run Mahasethee Mee Sukh’ (Happy Millionaire edition).

Celebrating 76th Birthday of Luang Por Tong Dam Intawaso. This is a Gamagarn Edition Box set of three amulets – very apt for a gift to corporate peers, or for your showcase, as well as of course, for wearing to recieve auspicious blessing. For Thai people, a Box Set like this would probably go on the ‘Hing Pra’ or Hmoo Dto Bucha (altar) and be prayed to for blessings instead of wearing, due to the collectability of this set, and the probability of it becoming also a valuable rarity.

Thai somdej amulet

The front face has Lord Buddha in the posture of conquering Mara (the moment of his enlightenment), with Pra Mae Toranee (Earth Goddess) squeezing her hair and releasing the tumult of waters to flood the Maras away.
The Buddha sits on a throne beneath the nine leafed Bodhi tree. The rear face has Mae Posop, the corn Deity embossed.

Made by Luang Por Tong Dam Intawaso, of Wat Tham Tapian Tong, Lopburi. This particular Deity amulet is designed for Choke Lap (Bandan Sap means to bestow great wealth and possessions, and to endow much happiness, abundance, and success in all ventures.

The total number of these amulets made, was only 276 sets of three amulets. It needs little explanation as to how rare these most wonderfully made amulets are. Each amulet has its numbered code embedded in the bottom of the amulet.

The Gamagarn top range amulet (above), features three Tagruds (gold silver and copper), with semi precious Ploi stones and minerals inserted in both front and rear faces. The Muan Sarn sacred powders in this amulet are visibly potent and just a smell of the amulet reveals the presence of a very powerful mixture indeed. The Main ingredients of each individual amulet are then mixed with a special addition of further sacred powders, which differ for each different edition.

In addition, four monks from Wat rakang Kositarams official Puttapisek Ceremony practitioners joined in the empowerment.

Ajarn Pra Maha Surasaks amazingly beautiful golden Tagrud amulets have turned out to have brought immensely successful results with almost all those people who obtained on of these giant size (6 inches long) special tagrud amulets, bringing great luck in recieving windfalls, business sales and auspicious occurences, that they have become immensely sought after. The Wicha of this particular Tagrud making method is a very rare and well kept secret, and is made in a different way to almost all other Tagrud, with various strict rules that mantain the purity and power of the amulet. One famouse story about this wicha is that Luang Por Surasak says he is willing to endow anyone with the knowledge of how to make these Tagrud, with the sole condition that he who learns the wicha must ordain as a monk and never disrobe! This is because only a Monk who keeps his promise to never disrobe will be able to perform the Wicha. This is part of what makes the Tagrud so powerful.

Up until 2553 BE, all LP Ngern amulets of Wat bang Klan were always casted at other temples. The first ever casting ceremony at Wat ban Klang was held last year. This edition of Luang Por Ngern Amulets was given its first Puttapisek Empowerment Ceremony at Wat Tay Nam on 11th October 2551 Be and the second empowerment Puttapisek was held at Wat Nong Nai Dong on the 8th November 2551 BE.

Only 1000 of these triple amulet sets were made in a special Gamagarn edition, and is a special collectors edition which is destined to become one of the classics of Thai Amulet History. A wonderful acquisition to keep for later generations in your family to Bucha, which will steadily increase in value as time passes.

The Larger Loi Ongk is covered in Ancient Silver coating and the two golden ones are gold plated with ‘tong pon sai’ (matt gold plating). All of the amulets have a sacred Yantra embossed on the base, or on the rear face in the case of the medallion.

This set bears the limited edition code number 197 being the one hundred and ninety seventh of 1000 made.

The set consists of two loi ongk statuettes and one ‘Rian Job sam liam Khai Pla’ (flat triangular medalion with ‘fish egg’ markings on the rim). The large Loi Ongk statuette is made from Albaca and is a Pra kring (has a bell in the base with a sacred object inserted which rings when you shake it). Pra kring recieve a special empowerment and making process which is considered extremely sacred and powerful, and whose method and content of the Kring is something of a secret except to those who have the wicha of making such amulets.
